Ruben is General Counsel of Nexperia and leads the global legal and intellectual property team. Ruben started his career as a lawyer and has over 20 years of experience in international corporate law, having held senior legal positions for a number of international companies including Royal Haskoning, Mercuria Energy and Vesta Terminals. Ruben is also Secretary of the Board of Directors and holds a Master`s degree in Law from Radboud University Nijmegen. Nexperia is a leading expert in the mass production of essential semiconductors (“chips”), components required by all electronic designs in the world. The company`s extensive portfolio includes diodes, bipolar transistors, ESD protection devices, MOSFETs, GaN FETs, and analog and logic ICs. Nexperia is the former Standard Products division of NXP Semiconductors, formerly Philips Semiconductors. Nexperia ships more than 100 billion products per year (about 10% of the world`s annual chip production, with annual sales of $2 billion), all meeting the strict standards of the automotive and other industries. With decades of experience supplying the world`s largest companies, Nexperia employs more than 12,000 people in Asia, Europe and the United States. Nexperia`s global legal and IP team consists of six professionals in Nijmegen, Hong Kong and Shanghai who work closely together in an excellent spirit. On behalf of Nexperia, we are looking for an experienced legal advisor with a generalist and practice-oriented cooperative mindset. Nexperia`s legal team intends to organize all legal, IP and compliance support worldwide through a new in-house legal team consisting of 2 lawyers in China and 2 lawyers in the Netherlands, complemented by a network of external lawyers.

As a result, Nexperia has a vacancy at its global headquarters for an experienced legal advisor with the possibility of becoming a future leadership role. The Senior Counsel will work closely with GC and the Shanghai legal team and act as a global legal advisory function for the firm. Nexperia offers a lifetime experience and is opposed to bureaucracy. The global legal department will operate as a small, motivated team, similar to its predecessors at NXP, where Legal was one of the most dedicated teams in the firm. The lead lawyer will be able to move into a future leadership position within Nexperia`s global legal department. You will act as a trusted partner for the management of one or more commercial clients, manage all commercial, corporate and regulatory legal matters, and act as the “wingman” of the General Counsel without day-to-day oversight. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for: The Legal Counsel will join Nexperia`s international high-tech environment and define and implement the company`s global legal strategy. They assist all global companies in a wide range of business, compliance and governance matters, including (but not limited to) global sales and supply contracts, business and disputes, contract management, handling of disputes and significant claims, confidentiality, governance and ethics, etc. The position is primarily located at Nexperia`s headquarters in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, with some post-COVID flexibility when working from home. Occasional trips to Europe as well as the United States and Asia may be part of the function.

The incumbent reports directly to the General Counsel. Charles is responsible for corporate affairs, including communications and public affairs. Charles also served as General Counsel at Nexperia and, prior to that, Vice President and General Counsel EMEA at NXP and held senior legal positions for leading global companies such as Philips and Akzo Nobel for over 30 years. He is also President of the Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands. Charles holds a Master of Laws degree from Radboud University Nijmegen. The regional reach of the legal team at headquarters includes corporate, Europe and America. The Shanghai team will be primarily responsible for all legal support in the APAC region, ranging from contracts with customers (such as Huawei, ZTA, Lenovo) and suppliers to labor, real estate and compliance issues for the three main manufacturing sites in Malaysia, Philippines, Guangdong and China. Marc is Nexperia`s Chief Human Resources Officer and leads the Global Human Resources department.

Marc has 25+ years of experience in various international HR roles for companies such as IFF and Rabobank. Marc joined Nexperia in 2017 and holds a Bachelor`s degree in Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law from Avans Business School and completed an MBA in Commerce programme at INSEAD Business School. Stefan is Chief Financial Officer of Nexperia and leads the team responsible for the financial and administrative strength of the company. Stefan started his career at Philips and NXP, where he developed his knowledge and experience in various financial roles and joined Nexperia in 2017 as Vice President of Global Management Control and member of the management team. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Schleswig-Holstein Cooperative State University in Kiel, Germany. Toni is Nexperia`s GM MOS Discretes and Country Manager Nexperia UK. With over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in marketing and business management, he has exceptional knowledge and industry experience. With a strong background in the automotive sector, Toni also holds a Master`s degree in Physics from Radboud University Nijmegen and a Diploma in Supply Chain Management from UT Eindhoven. Ronald is responsible for corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and corporate relations at Nexperia. He has extensive business growth experience with global partners and clients in his global management roles at NXP, Philips and BC Components and has a successful track record in large-scale M&A transactions.

Ronald`s more than 25 years of industry experience includes senior management positions and his strong leadership and knowledge of strategic relationships strengthens and drives Nexperia`s growth strategy. Ronald holds a Master`s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology. Irene Deng is GM BG Power & Signal Conversion ICs from Nexperia. She brings 20+ years of experience building, directing and scaling R&D and global companies in the analog solid-state IC industry. As a former General Manager and one of the founding members of Texas Instruments` China R&D Center, Irene has extensive expertise in analog RF, power and signal chain ICs. She studied electronics at Iowa State University (MSc) and Nanjing University (BS). Xuezheng Zhang (Wing) has been CEO of Nexperia since March 2020. Lead the management team to lead the company to market growth and maintain its leadership position. Prior to Nexperia, he founded Wingtech Technology in 2006 – Nexperia`s current majority shareholder – where he is also President and CEO.

Wingtech is a global communications company serving the world`s leading brands with annual revenues of over $6 billion and a market value of over $20 billion. Prior to founding Wingtech, Wing had a successful career in companies such as STMicroelectronics. He holds a Bachelor`s degree from Guangdong University of Technology, an EMBA degree from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Finance from Tsinghua University/University of Geneva. He is based in offices in the Netherlands and China. Dr. Ke Jiang is General Manager of BG I&M and China Design Center (CDC) at Nexperia. He has 15+ years of semiconductor experience in various roles in strategy, R&D, product management and supply chain management with a focus on automotive microelectronics, including eight years at Infineon Technologies AG in Germany.
