1000% recommend this facility. From the moment we stepped into the building to the moment we left, our concerns were heard, and we felt very comfortable with treatment. I was by myself with three children, and they continued to cater to me and all of my kids, even though only one of them was the sick one. THIS POST IS FOR DOCTOR HATHORN......Hi my name is Erica Williams and on 1/3/2024 I was born with sickle cell disease and I was having a sickle cell crisis flair up which prompted me to come to this facility for further help. My experience went past just physician to patient care. Doctor Hathorn gave me back the courage I lost by letting my disease take over my thinking. Doctor Hathorn sat down with me and reminded me that my disease does not define me. Now remind you I've never met this doctor a day in my life as a matter of fact im here visiting from LA and by coincidence he's from California also, which also gave me more comfort. His care for me extended beyond his doctrine. We had one of those "Uncle to Niece" conversation that was critically needed. As the tears came streaming everything he said to me I listened and im applying. I want to tell him Thank You so much, you are an angel sent to me at a time when I wasnt my strongest. You took the time and walked me thru hand and hand past things I had no business letting consum me. You pulled me from a place that was dark and piled high with guilt. You told me to "BE THE BEST VERSION OF MYSELF" and at that moment I lit up. It was like you already knew what I needed to hear, you understood what I was going thru and reminded me its all mental. I changed my thinking and it changed my outcome and for that I THANK YOU. Doing Gods work is going to get blessed abundantly. Thank you for saving me! Thank you for being my doctor! Thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty! WE NEED MORE DOCTORS LIKE YOU! Please dont ever stop being you. You saved my life from a deep dark hole I was gonna place myself in. You such an amazing person. I havent stopped smiling since you discharged, im so full of joy plus im inspired because "MY DISEASE DOES NOT DEFINE ME"! THANK U SO SO SO SO SO SO DOCTOR HATHORN. I have been to several ER's over the years. I have never been treated with as much respect and fast service than with Victoria ER! The staff and Drs here are amazing. They listen to me and genuinely care about me as a person. I've always felt welcomed and very well cared for here. Will definately choose them in the future!
